Private by default

There is no search or browsing for freelancers or companies - profiles are private by default.

Freelancer - collection and use

Using the Service as a freelancer requires you to register and create a Profile. Private by default, this Profile is only shared when you respond Yes (send your Interest for an opportunity) to a company or if you are part of their freelancer network.

We send you Notifications by email and/or twitter when a posted need (opportunity) matches your role.

Using the Service as a company requires a Profile. Private by default, this Profile is only shared with matched freelancers when you post a need (an opportunity).

Purposes for which we will use your personal data

We do not store your credit card details

If you choose use our paid services, your credit card details will not be stored or be accessible by us. Your payment details are encrypted and securely stored by Stripe (privacy policy).

Email service providers

We use Postmark (privacy policy) for our transactional emails.

Cookies

We use cookies for 'keep me logged in' and to save form states in your browser.

We may link to other websites, they will have their own privacy policies. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies.

Protecting your information

We have security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure and we run our site exclusively over SSL (https).

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and in such event we will notify you and any applicable regulator where we are legally required to do so.

Data retention

We may retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services, comply with our legal obligations and resolve disputes. In certain circumstances we may be required by law to retain your personal information, or may need to retain your personal information in order to continue providing a service.

Even if you delete your account that the deleted information may persist in our database backups for upto 14 days.
